Sadly I have heard that the Louise Mandrell comeback CD titled "Playing Favorites" has been shelved.  Miss Mandrell's husband has experienced much ill health and Louise is unable to do any sort of tour in support of a new CD release. Thus, the already completed CD is understood to be shelved, which is extremely sad.

Good news! Louise Mandrell was a guest on the "Crook & Chase" program on the RFD network and revealed that her new CD is indeed coming out on Strataverious Records. She was uncertain on the date, but it is important to stress that the CD has NOT been shelved!
